    Hi,
I recently got a 8770w Elitebook Workstation, very happy with it but even before i got it i knew i was going to install an SSD as the system drive.
I have done so and the laptop is blisteringly quick but i have one issue with it, at boot during the BIOS screen the laptop pauses for around 30-40secs which is really quite annoying.

Does anyone have any idea why its doing this? i had a look through the BIOS but nothing stands out.

The SSD i installed is a Corsair Force 3, it was brand new when i installed it.

    Thanks.

It's probably a BIOS setting. I think it's waiting for other boot devices. Just set it to boot from only the ssd drive and it should start up much faster.
