I recently got a PM from a member asking me advice on my panel replacement, so here it is:

    You need the following components:

HP 6930P CONVERTER BOARD - WISTRON KARIA 48.4V91 HP 6930p Converter Board Wistron Karia 48 4V91 | eBay
    HP 6930 6930p Panel Converter Cable 50.4V919.002 HP 6930 6930p Panel Converter Cable 50 4V919 002 | eBay
HP EliteBook 6930p LED SCREEN CABLE HP EliteBook 6930p LED Screen Cable | eBay
lp141wp3 Panel for ThinkPad T410i (1440x900) lots on eBay
I replaced the whole cover too, to get the webcam version Coque Plasturgie Avant Arriere Pour HP Compaq 6930p | eBay

There you are with 6930p 1440x900 LED version :)

For note, my stock panel was 1280x800 CCFL version...

Your 6930p still under warranty? wow! mine expired a month ago...
And this mod should not break HP warranty as those cables are 6930p original cables and board, only the panel is not in the spare parts....

Has anyone else tried this modification so far?

I'd also like to upgrade my WXGA+ CCFL to any LED version that will work (WXGA or WXGA+).

Does anyone know which other display next to the lp141wp3 will work? Thx!
