I have an HP EliteBook 8540p that I'd like to hookup to my MultiSync 3090WQXi, which requires a DVI Dual-Link interface to take advantage of the maximum resolution (2560x1600). The HP does not have a DVI port but does have a DisplayPort.

Does anyone know if this DisplayPort with a DVI converter cable can support the full resolution of this monitor?

    Thanks!
