It seems that the Haswell successor to the HP Elitebook Folio 9470m has been presented by HP in Hungary and people at Tech2 provided a first hands-on video:

HP EliteBook Folio 940 G1 ultrabook bemutató videó | Tech2.hu

    Short tech specs:
    CPU Intel Core i7-4600U
    8 GB of DDR3 RAM
    SSD 256Gb
    matte 14" screen FullHD
no trackpoint and trackpad with integrated buttons

At the same time HP presented also the Elitebook 850 G1:

with Core i5-4300M, 4Gb of DDR3 RAM, matte 15,6" FullHD screen and the Probook 650 G1:

with Core i5-4200M, 4Gb of DDR3 RAM, matte 15,6" FullHD screen and a lot of ports. No information is known about prices and/or availability.

    Update:
Well, it seems that Tech2 has removed the linked article, but there are other pictures around the net showing the Folio 940 G1, like here:

Not a lot of info, but thanks. I know the 840 has discrete graphics, hopefully the 940 does as well.

The HP site has two empty pages for a Folio 1040 G1. Anyone have an idea what that could be?

As far as I understand, there is no such thing as 940 G1. It will be replaced next month with 1040 G1. However, more information I have no idea. Anyone who knows more, please tell me? I really want to get a new laptop to replace my EliteBook 2730p

    Sincerely,

    SB

The pictures looked like my Elitebook 840 without the pointing stick, physical trackpad buttons, and the keyboard backing was case color and not black. Everything else looked the same. No idea what this is.

Yeah, I saw them also. But I find it so hard to find any information or rumours about new EliteBooks. There are seriously a lack of people who are just interested about them... Anyone got links or websites about only EliteBook news?

Also it says it doesn't have a RJ45 port... was wondering then... how do you connect a regular line into this laptop then?

Ah, I see this is thinner than the Elitebook or Zbook - 0.69". No Ethernet means you need to buy a USB to Ethernet adapter.
