    I found it at the pawn shop. Intel Core i5 CPU, 320 GB 7200rpm HD, 2 GB RAM, Windows XP. Nice deal, but the wallpaper has the local school district logo, and the user accounts are complicated with a ton of domains. Hmmm....

    That's a heck of a deal, but I'd be very worried that the notebook might be stolen property. Call the school district whose logo you saw and see if they're missing any notebooks. If they are, let them know where you found it.
