I recently just bought a brand new HP 8460P fully loaded yesterday and did a clean reformat. I believe i reinstalled most of the important drivers but I may be missing one or two and I feel that it is affecting the laptops performance in games.

    The specs of the laptop:
    Core i7 2620M
    HD 6470M
    4 Gig Ram

I'm getting 20 FPS on Counterstrike:Source and around 20 FPS on Heroes of Newerth in low settings, almost unplayable.

I'm thinking the laptop is not switching to it's dedicated graphics card and staying on it's integrated graphics card when I load a game.

    Any ideas? Help is appreciated!

EDIT: I've figured out the problem, it's the AMD Powerplay settings. They are not kicking in when I load up games, anyone else have a suggestion to fix this?
