Hi, I own an Elitebook 8470p, but recently the left click button for the Touchstyk became unresponsive. Checked settings and the Touchstyk settings were there, but when booting into Linux Mint, the ability to use the stick and the other top buttons were gone. I thought it'd be a driver issue so I rebooted, got into BIOS and the stick and buttons weren't working there either, at all.
I went into Device Manager and it looked as if it didn't exist. Not even Synaptics in the mouse settings picked it up.
I've updated drivers, reinstalled them, reseated the keyboard but no dice so far. Any ideas?

Maybe there's a hardware toggle? An Fn key combo; for example, Fn + F5 on my Dell Latitude disables the touchpad.
Otherwise it could be that the trackpad/buttons simply went bad.
