    I've installed A-Data SSD S599 40 GB, but it's detected as a 9 GB drive with MultiWord DMA2 speed.

My MultiBay caddy is based on Marvell chip.

I've got 160 GB Samsung HM160HC in disk bay + COMBO drive.

How to get full capacity and speed ?

It looks like the notebook didn't liked the 40 GB model. Replaced with Kingston V200 128 GB then full capacity was shown, replaced with A-Data S396 30 GB also all working.

Now just help me fix this issue with Multiword DMA 2.

I've changed speed UDMA6 with hdparm for Windows:

    Now instead of 31/24 MB/s I'm getting 98/24 MB/s !!!

I will have to fix writes with BAR-edit now ;)

Tried all settings in BAR-edit but no luck. Any one can tell me what is the correct value for offset 0x54 on ICH4R ?
