Even though the battery life is rated at 9.5 hours with Windows 8 and that is great for a 4 cell, we need more so we can have a comfortable reserve running Windows 7 for 9 hours and allow for some battery life loss with age. Also, HP's battery rating test was done with the screen brightness set at only 60 nits and wireless off, so it will not be realistic for our use since wireless will be used and users will turn the screen brightness up to a easier to read level in a bright room.
Will there be a 6 or 9 cell battery or battery slice available for the HP ProBook 430 G1?

I am in the exact same situation. I want a bigger battery for HP ProBook 430 G1 (i5-4200U).
