Hey guys, I have an HP ProBook 450 G2 that I got from work from a customer decommissioning it and I wanted to re purpose it for a spare laptop for myself. I noticed that the screen is only 1366x768 which is quite low for me. I was wondering if anyone was familiar if there are any upgraded screens with a 1920x1080 resolution that would be compatible with this laptop that I could replace it with? I have not taken it apart yet so I do not know exact pin counts etc but I am hoping someone may have some knowledge or experience with it.

download service manual pdf from HP: read that manual, does it list two different LCD cables for the computer?

If it does, note the part number for FullHD cable.
Note the part number of FullHD display panel.

use part numbers as reference and buy the parts you need from your favourite place

read the manual again how to install the parts. enjoy.
