Hi, I couldn't find a thread for probook 450 so I am setting a new one.

    Two questions,

i got probook from renew program and I have some strange Czech keyboard layout. I wanted to change that and I checked ebay, are those keyboards from china worth buying? And wanted to buy backlit one, but now its normal without backlit, will it work?

second, there is m.2 socket, I wanted to upgrade laptop with SSD drive, can I put there any m.2 small SSD drive? Any recommendations about brand and model?

Regarding the m.2 slot - i have probook 450 G2 with FHD display (i5 5200u, 8 GB ram) with m.2 slot. I have installed m.2 ssd drive in it, but you can only install m.2 ssd to 42mm size (m.2 2242 size). I installed Transcend m.2 2242 SSD 128 GB MTS400. You can view user ssd comparison here: http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compar...GB-vs-Kingston-HyperX-Fury-120GB/m12551vs2586
Everything works smoothly and and miles ahed from standard HDD. For comparison i have OCZ agility 3 120gb on desktop computer, and in everyday tasks there is no difference in perfomance between m.2 Transcend and OCZ agility 3 2,5'' (though according to test Transcend has reduced write speeds to cca 160 MBps).

@nonick - I wonder if you could help me? I have a similar request and you are one of the few people on the Internet who seem to have this working.

    I have a Probook 450 G2, 500GB SATA drive (Win 10) and BIOS 1.16.
I wish to install an M.2 SSD (and to boot from it) I have an M.2 slot spare on the mobo (in addition to the Wifi adaper) and I have bought this SSD: http://www.adata.com/en/ssd/feature/326 which fits fine.

No matter what I do, I cannot get the SSD to show, either in Windows (booting from the SATA drive) in BIOS or in diagnostics.
Could you confirm a few BIOS settings so that I may troubleshoot my setup further? Specifically I would like to know these known good settings:

BIOS > Advanced > Boot Options:
    Fast Boot?
    mSATA Boot?
Boot mode > Legacy, UEFI with csm or UEFI without CSM?

Any other tips appreciated? Thanks :) I'm banging my head here.
