Search the HP store and you'll see that there is limited availability starting as of last night. Shipping seems to start around 2/11 for customized models.

There appears to be an issue with the $200 gift card not being added to your cart with these models. I spoke to my sales rep and they've submitted a ticket to the IT department to have the website fixed. Might want to hold off on buying until this is fixed. $200 should go nicely towards discounting the Thunderbolt dock.

Also, the 150w Thunderbolt dock is also listed on the site now.

Sound great, now I am just waiting for the UHD option on the 17 G3... hope it doesn't cost TOO much and that doesn't consume all that much power...

I don't suppose you asked your rep if the "special edition" Quadro M1000M from the Studio (with 4 GB RAM) is what's in the regular G3? The regular G3 spec sheet and page say no, but it seems like those have been wrong before.

Beyond that, does anyone have a feel for real-world performance differences between a 4 GB M1000M and the M2000M? According to the Nvidia comparison, the only differences between the 1000 and 2000 are the RAM, power consumption, and 512 cores vs 640 on the M2000M.

EDIT: Never mind, performance differences were touched on in one of the other threads.

Thanks for sharing that these are available.

The configurable models are configurable except for the CPU. You have to pick the model with the CPU you want to start with. That's probably because the CPU's are soldered to the motherboard now ...
