Recently I delved into the machine to dust and repaste the CPU and GPU, but from removing the top cover resulted scratches on the panel.

It's only a few on the lower left corner but they're not shallow as I can feel them with my nail, so its visible either on or off.

My question is this, are there any screen protectors that can hide this well enough? I want to avoid replacing the panel (saving money) but the benefit of that is changing the screen for IPS as it is using a TN panel for now.

Any tips? I have attached an image of the scratches that I kind of want to hide somehow.

EDIT for clarification of what I would have tried: I used my old monitor to test these "remedies" that involve toothpaste or petrolatum jelly but those are useless in this case.

My options might be just slim, I'm going to replace the entire panel with an IPS display that's accurate for my needs.
