Hey guys, it's been awhile but I'm getting ready to upgrade my zv6130us.

I've always like the design/styling of the Probook series and some of the consumer lines but am disappointed that they dropped the backlit keyboard option for their consumer laptops and that until recently, Probooks didn't even have the option.

I'm in the market for a 14-15" model and was wondering if anyone here knows whether or not the 14"+ Probooks will get backlit keyboards (even as an option) in the near future/refreshes? It was nice to see that the Probooks finally get a backlit keyboard but only the small 13" versions.

I've had my zv6130 for going on 6+ years so I want to get something finally with a backlit keyboard and other than the envy (don't like the red lighting), I'm down to the Dell Vostro 3450/3550, XPS 15 and possibly the Sony Vaio SB series in my price range ($800 or less).

EDIT: I came across the Probook 6460b which isn't described as having a backlit keyboard but then in the pics it looks like it does?

    Thanks guys!

I don't think the ProBook 6460b does have a backlit keyboard, I believe they're using a light tent there and it's making the keys "glow" a little due to the reflected light. There's a pretty comprehensive list of backlit keyboard laptops here:
