    Hi,

I know well that there are screwy things with the UEFI bios on this machine.

I am successfully running Debian 9 on it and all is pretty much working fine.

I want to make a bootable USB stick that can be used for any emergency access that might be needed.

I have a UEFI USB stick that successfully boots on a different (Dell) machine. I try the boot menu on the HP, pick the USB device but it doesn't seem to see the folder with the UEFI file. It shows only "\".

Any clues on what I might be missing?

    Thanks much!
