I'm wondering if anyone has RMA'd an HP laptop with a broken LCD latch ( the part you slide to release the plastic locks ) and also is anyone has ever RMA'd one a laptop with one of the 2 battery latches broken ( not the sliding parts on the bottom but the parts that hold the battery in ). I'm wondering because HP says if they rule the damage accidental that they will charge me $89 for a diagnostics so I'm wondering if anyone has successfully RMA'd a laptop with either of these problems or if HP has ruled the damage accidental on someone before and refused to warranty it.
