I love my 8540w, and I'm curious about upgrading

My HP 8540w has been fantastic for years, but the limited screen resolution (1600x900) has always been an issue with gaming undocked, and now recently released games are challenging the Quadro. I tried the "Q" edition with the 1080 display, but it crashes most of the (old and new) games I've installed on it!

I was wondering if anyone knew the EliteBook line well enough to suggest an upgrade path. For instance, is the 8740w an improvement? Do I have to avoid the later "Q" models and stick with "M"?

I would suggest you to get some gaming laptop instead of upgrading 8540W.
Someone tried K2200M, it did worked but the fan was always on the top speed
