    Long Life battery for 8530w?

    Hello,

    My 8530w's battery is starting to wear out. Where can i get one of those newer 3 year warranty pack?

    Will the 8540w's battery fit 8530w? Will it last 3 years?
    I know older models, 8510w and below have a different shape.

    I would check here on eBay. It looks like quite a few to choose from with free shipping and a "buy it now" so you don't have to wait for a closing date! Hope this helps.

    Find the part # for the battery you're after. Refer back to HP Replacement Battery site with the product # off the bottom of the laptop. This model didn't have the nice PDF manual like the old ones otherwise I'd have the info for you.
    Another way to find out would be to basically look through some of the descriptions of the items for sale on eBay and maybe contact the sellers. Most likely though they will tell yes even if they don't know for sure.
