Hi, I am trying to get the microphone from the internal mic on a ZBook 17 to work, and no luck. This is the mic with the two input son either side of the camera at the edge of the display.

I am on Windows 7 x64, tried with Google sound plug in and Skype, and the Recorder.

I can hit Fn-F8 and I see the amber disabled light go on, or off.

As far as I can tell I have the latest driver, IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, reported as 6.10.6491.0 and working properly.

Microphone is turned on in BIOS.

Sound under Control Panel shows no bars moving when under Recording. It says "Internal Microphone Array", Green check as default; under Properties, it is enabled and set as default, level is 100, microphone boost is 0db. If on the Recording tab I click Configure, it takes me to set up the microphone for speech recognition, I can't past the page where you speak into it.

    Can anyone help?
    Thanks!
