I'm eyeing these two notebooks, one is a brand new ultrabook and the other an Elitebook from last generation. I'm wondering about the processing power of the ULV processor vs an older "regular" processor. Most of the work I would be doing is Adobe Photoshop/Fireworks, programming, etc, and would be more reliant on processor and memory than GPU. I don't plan on doing any games on the notebook really, but would like to be able to watch movies, and pump out 1080p video via HDMI.

New Ultrabook: HP EliteBook Folio 9470m - 3rd generation Intel Core i7-3667U 2.0GHz
Older gen Elitebook: HP EliteBook 8460p - 2nd generation Intel Core i5-2450M 2.5GHz

Clock speed isn't everything. If you compare the two, you'll see that the i7 is the better of the two.
