    Hey,

    I just inherited this old pc from a friend.. it's got a bit of a dodgy power connection though..

    does anyone know if HP/Compaq did a dock/port replicator for this as google is turning up nada :(

    Actually nx7000 and nx7300 are totally different models and newer nx7300 can use hp docks even sold today for new elitebooks etc.

    Turn it around, do you have docking port there, looks like this:

    Actually, the HP 2008 series docks should work with the nx7300. I know they work on the nw8440/nc8430, which are essentially beefed-up nx7300/7400s with dedicated GPUs, so I'd be surprised if the 2008 docks didn't work with your nx7300.

    Those docks will not work with the nx7300/nx7400. Those docks was for some HP Compaq business notebooks that were 2 generations behind the nx7300/nx7400. (nc4000, nx5000, nx7000, nc6000, nc8000, nw8000, along with some even older Compaq Evos)
