The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Overdue for an EliteBook release?

    HP has traditionally announced new EliteBooks during spring with shipping beginning in summer, with all-new generations and processor refreshes alternating every other year.

    Why is HP so late this year in announcing their new EliteBooks? "Haswell" laptops are already live on HP's consumer site, yet still not a peep for new EliteBooks.

    (By extension, both Dell and Lenovo are also mum on new Precisions/Thinkpads -- the Intel chips are out; what's the bottleneck?)
