I was given (as a gift) this laptop and it should be coming pretty soon to my door.

    Here are the specs:

    Intel® Core™ i3-2310M
    4 GB
    320 GB
    DVD+/-RW SuperMulti DL
    Intel® HD Graphics 3000
    15.6" diagonal LED-backlit HD anti-glare (1366 x 768)
    Broadcom 802.11a/b/g/n

Pretty much the low-end model, which is fine :)

However it seems like the laptop can be upgraded, so I plan on upgrading the CPU (2720QM), and the LCD to HD+ (not FHD), and the RAM and the HD. Of course I will have to upgrade the PSU to support it the new CPU, but will I have to upgrade the MB to support the Quad chip?

In the end though, is it worth it?
