    Yeah, I'm waiting for this model to become available, as well. The price and specs seem enough for my needs, hope the battery life will be ok (unlike e.g. Lenovo U260).

    looks like a macbook pro .. wish it was 13 inch instead of 12. 12 is a bit too small for any real use outside of email, some word and web browsing.

    Where is this thing? First I was waiting for the 5220m to show up (and didn't) and now this. Are they releasing the 12" models in Europe at all?

    Apple, HP, Dell, all the major American companies. They're all doing the same thing, throwing manufacturing jobs to China and contributing to your economic downfall, and with that, social problems and increasingly hostile environment. The only way you're going to change that is by creating your own line of notebook using American labor. Stop referencing Apple is never going to put a dent in your perceived problem.
