My HP ProBook 450 G1 Notebook PC originally showed an INCORRECT Touchpad "ON/OFF" Indicator Light status when I received it from the Supplier (which was subsequently resolved when I carried out the 1st large Windows 8 Pro Updates (104 Updates, 1,352MB) after my 1st Startup of the Notebook).

    In other words :

When the Touchpad was "ON" (working), the Touchpad "ON/OFF" Indicator Light was "ON/LIT" (shining yellow).
When the Touchpad was "OFF" (not working), the Touchpad "ON/OFF" Indicator Light was "OFF/UNLIT".

This was the opposite of what it should have been.

    Questions:

    (1) What are are the possible causes ?

    (2) Would this indicate that the Notebook had been supplied to me as a USED Unit, rather than as a NEW unit ?

Would greatly any answers that anyone provide to these questions.

    Thank you.
