When the ZBook 15 was announced back in 2013 an option for a QHD+-Display was mentioned. Until now, I haven't heard anything more concrete about it. Does anybody know if (and if yes: when) the QHD+-Display will be available?

QHD+ sounds desirable and is impressive for some tasks, but it sucks in general due to missing support of QHD+ in most programs. While you often can zoom the workspace of a program, you cant zoom the surround bars e.g. letter, character and Icons which are annoyingly to small, sometimes microscopic in size.
I tried QHD+ with a much larger 27" monitor, and had to decide against buying it http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-business-class-notebooks/750494-hp-zbook-15-owners-lounge-13.html post 122, I have not worked on a 15" QHD+, but on a Fujitsu 904 which is as far as the resolution is concerned in between Full HD and QHD+, and as far as I would go, until window allows to zoom just the programs work space, independent from the desktop. -
OK, there is hope! A QHD+-Model is finally listed - at least in Germany; availability may still take some time...

QHD+ will be available for ZBook 15 G2, I heard this form a friend in China factory.

Thanks for the confirmation. Are there any other informations what HP changed with Gen 2? The first models listed on a german price-comparison site seem only to have newer CPUs, e.g. Core i7-4710MQ replaces the Core i7-4700MQ and so on.

G2 will use NGFF (M.2) for both wireless card and SSD
And should be having nVidia Quadro K2200m as an option
