I have to get the touchpad fixed, some buttons only works occasionally.
The laptop doesn't have the original SSD, will that be a problem? I guess not, but I better ask anyway.
What's your experience with HP's warranty?

No problems at all they will just replace the part for you.
They will probably make you do some remote troubleshooting first.
Depending on the warranty they will either come to you or they will collect.
Last one took under a week to be returned to me

It has been a while since I had a laptop with warranty that I could not serve myself...
HP 8510w had a defective mouse button, I dropped the laptop off at the service depot around 4pm and it was ready to be picked up at 10am next day. They ordered replacement part from Germany before shop closed and it was shipped overnight to the service center.SL2 likes this. -
