So I was looking to buy RAM for my laptop.

I found this ( http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/ct2k8g3s160bm) from a local supplier and it's supposedly for MACs.

Using the Crucial configurator, I found this other RAM model ( http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/elitebook-8460p/CT2392248) that's not for MACs but the timings, speed and voltage is the same as the supposedly MAC only model.

Is the supposed MAC model safe to buy? I'd rather get it from a local supplier (Crucial authorized distributor) since the 2nd RAM model needs to be coming from the US.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks a lot.
