    Hi all,

Any recommendation for an SSD drive for the HP Zbook 15 ? I'd like to get a 1TB drive.

    Thanks

I'd look for a drive from Crucial, Samsung, or Intel, and ignore other SSD makers as they don't have the same sort of reliability record as those three.

The EVO is a decent drive, though you could also look at the 960GB Crucial M500. That uses MLC NAND while the EVO uses TLC NAND, which will wear out much faster due to writes (TLC should last roughly 7 years, where MLC theoretically can last 140 years under similar conditions, iirc).

There's no difference between an HP-sponsored drive and a regular drive. SATA is SATA is SATA.

I upgraded my msata drive to an intel 525 120GB drive for Windows and programs. I use the 750GB harddisk for storage of data.
