Just received a brand new Elitebook X360 1030 G2 with Sureview. Loving the functionality of it, but the screen is...horrendous. I can't really look at it for more than about 30 minutes straight without getting a bad headache.

It seems like it has a bad hotspot in the middle of the screen when you look at it dead-on - appearing like the backlight is very strong in the middle 1/3 of the screen, with the top and bottom being dimmer. Also has lots of sparklies (not sure what to call these...but it looks like the screen 'sparkles' with very minor changes in contrast from pixel to pixel).

I've been wondering if this is caused from the Sureview privacy screen technology - causing some sort of side effects on the overall contrast and consistency of the screen. Not quite sure.

I haven't had much luck finding a replacement screen that would not have Sureview; potentially targeting the UHD (rather than FHD) screen hoping that makes it better.

Could anyone suggest how I could track down the replacement screen product numbers?
So far, I've only seen a few mentioned on eBay (but not sure how reliable that is).
