In the past I would send a business laptop for repair, they would receive it, repair it and ship it out the same day... 3 business day turn-around if you called in early and got it back to FedEx before the cut-off. Today HP received my laptop and when I called them around 10pm for the 2nd time they told me they received the laptop and turn-around is 5 days.

What's going on with this? I send the machine instead of requesting the parts so I wouldn't have to deal with it :(

Where, in writing, does/did it state that they fix and return machines with a 3 business day service? An extra 2 days is HARDLY ANYTHING to complain about!

Then again if they DO state 3 days then it should be 3 days

Nobody gave any timeframe. Anyways, called Friday and it was shipped out Thursday -- same day it was received. An hour late for the FedEx cutoff so it arrives Monday, 1 day delay *#(@ happens not a problem. But you can see that's the decent warranty service I've come to expect from HP business.
