This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I'm currently running a Probook 6550b as a server w/Ubuntu and it has an I3 340 w/6GB of DDR3 and I'd like to put a quad core i7 in it.
    Will a Intel Core i7-740QM Mobile SLBQG fit/work?
