What Upgrade Bay caddy can I use with the 6360b?

I'd like to stick a >500gb drive in there. HP does appear to offer a 750Gb upgrade bay drive but I can't actually find it for sale here at a cursory glance.

Then I saw the legions of fleabay upgrade bays and thought "Hey, I could reuse the 750Gb drives I've ripped out from the Cookbook Pros".

So what are my options? HP is not clear on what works with the 6360b's even in terms of lesser upgrade bay drives, and few of the ebay caddies specifically list the 6360b. I'm assuming it's not going to be an issue but I'd like to hear from someone who actually has an upgrade bay drive in a 6360b.

Just measure if your optical drive is a 9.5mm tall or 12.7mm tall unit, then grab a Fenvi brand caddy off ebay and swap your optical drive's faceplate over. If you don't want to do the faceplate swap then see if HP have a weightsaver caddy for your 6360b. If they do then you can hack off the faceplate and stick it on a caddy like done to a 2560P here.

I don't want to bother with swapping faceplates around or hacks, especially as I will undoubtedly need to swap occasionally between HDD and ODD.

The ebay/newmodeus optical bay caddies come with generic faceplates. If use those it just means a mismatch with the contours of the notebook but of course the caddy will function perfectly well. If the faceplate is a bother then you just swap over the optical drive's faceplate. There doesn't appear to be a 6360b ebay/newmodeus caddy with matched faceplate.

2.5" SATA drives go up to 1TB in 9.5mm height and will soon be available in 1.5TB in 12.5mm height (3 platters of 500GB each).

Well, I guess I'll just go with the original plan then - go with one of the faceplated generic caddies and hope for the best.
