Hi all,
which SSD would you recomend for a 8530p laptop? Anyone has it?
I'm looking for around 120Gigs (or up to ~300$).
Any problems with any SSD (or even installing?)? Perhaps due to SATA3 (even though it is compatible) / anything else?
Thanks.

Sorry, I have missed this thread ("http://forum.notebookreview.com/solid-state-drives-ssds-flash-storage/565193-best-ssd-sata-ii-notebooks.html") and actually the whole SSD section :$
Will now first look there... -
My system:
HP EliteBook 8530p, C2D T9400, 4 GB DDR2
Crucial C300 128GB FW 0006
Win 7 Enterprise SP1 64bit
Intel RST 10.1.2.1004 using AHCI
Before the Crucial I used an Indilix barefoot-based SSD:
Solidata K6-64GB FW1916
Win 7 Enterprise 64bit
Intel RST 10.0.0.4 using AHCI
Normal Workload: Office 2010, IE 8/9, Chrome, VMware Workstation 7 with one or two VMs running
Both SSDs performed perfect. And actually I can´t really feel the difference between the two, although the benchs differ quite a lot.
Which SSD for 8530p?
