Does the default hp XU083UT#ABA come with vPro? I'm asking this because HP shows that it doesn't while other stores with the same computer shows it does.

Also, could someone explain what the main difference would be having or not having vPro technology?

One Important vPro function is a hardware based "Remotedesktop" (KVM) which works also if the computer isn`t running a OS, so you can remotely change BIOS option or even install a new OS. But that function requires Intel graphics, and since the graphics in Elitebooks is not switchable it doesn`t work if you have dedicated graphics.
However, AFAIK even whithout the KVM function computer manufacturers are allowed to call their systems vPro, so if the XU083UT#ABA doesn´t have the vPro label there must be an additional reason.

It appears that I won't even take advantage of the technology so I don't think it's needed. Thanks for the answers from the above posters.
