    ZBook 15 G2 / AMD Driver Freeze with Hybrid graphics

    Hi guys,

    Quick question. On the ZBook 15 G2 with AMD m5100 firepro - having some driver issues.

    -Have clean installed Win 10 Pro (Creator Edition 1709). Completed the Windows 10 Pro setup without the internet. Did offline install of Intel graphics, then restart; and finally the AMD driver (dated Mar 2017). Upon reboot - the system freezes in Windows shortly after reaching the desktop.

    -Disabling the Hybrid graphics in the bios seems to fix the issue (latest bios). It drains the battery more quickly though. Is there an alternative to disabling the Hybrid graphics? (e.g. I know there is a AMD / Dell Precision driver floating out there - haven't tried that).

    Might it be reasonable to ask HP to replace the graphics card with a Quadro? (seeing as I keep running into the issue).

    did you get the AMD driver from HP directly?
