I have a ZBook 17 on a 230w docking station with dual monitors attached. One monitor is connected with the DVI port, and the other is on VGA. According to my NVIDIA control panel, the monitor on DVI is running off of the Quadro K3100M, but the VGA monitor is using the Intel HD Graphics 4600.

If I swapped the VGA cable with a DVI and a DisplayPort-DVI adapter, would that allow both monitors to run off of the Quadro card?

I cannot help (I don't have your hardware) but have you checked out what you can change using the Windows control panel?

Just on the Desktop use right click and choose "Screen resolution". Then right click on the monitor icon (1 or 2, the one you want to change) and choose properties. Maybe you can change the video card there.

I don't see any options in the properties that would allow me to change the video card.

can you deactivate the Intel graphics only in BIOS? If not and if it is part of the power settings you maybe can make one NVIDIA profile with max power and one with normal power (switching) and just change the NVIDIA profile if you need or don't need the Intel graphics.

not sure what you are trying to accomplish here,
the screen routed through Intel have no problem using the dgpu power.
