Since there isn't much on this subject I will cover the basics.

    I had a K610M 1GB

I gathered from this and other forums I would need a new heatsink that is used on the bigger GPUS KxxxxM.

This was incorrect on "my" laptop.

The K610M Heatsink Fit perfect on the K4000M Laptop I bought. Including on the memory, gpu core, and other components.

You will need new thermal paste, Silicone Thermal pads, etc.

Booted with no issues although the k4000m was never offered on the ZB 17 it cost me 125$ and gave me decent performance and 4GB Video ram.

Downloaded the Quadro Drivers from Nvidia. Installed.

That's it. Although there is quite a bit of lag in using the hot keys to adjust my brightness everything else seems fine.

I assume the Optimus also is working.
