    Hello,

Does anybody have the same problem:
Sometimes after resuming from the sleep mode the display does not turn on. The solution is to close and open the lid although when I put the system into the sleep mode I don't close the lid cover. It happens sometimes, not always. The laptop is brand new was purchased several weeks ago.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

    Hi,

i have seen this on my 6465b too, but it's rare, and can't exactly say whats behind that. i remember, it occured when i put the laptop into sleep mode (fn+F3) and brightness was set automatically to min. or display was completely dimmed. ..or something like that, it wasnt clear..

I know this is a rather old thread but I just recived an HP probook 6465b and I cannot shut it down. I'll shut it down an it will just power back on as soon as its off. Please I just got this thing and I don't want to send it
Back. And I posted here because I couldn't find any threads relating to my issue.
