    I had a clean install of Windows 7 on my new ENVY dv6-7214nr and none of the video drivers (Intel + Nvidia) was recognized first. You mention:

    "Do not install this if your notebook contains an ATI/AMD graphics card or NVIDIA graphics card! This driver package is compatible only with notebooks that have an Intel 6-series or 7-series motherboard chipset with integrated graphics technology."

    I tried installing the Nvidia driver directly, but it did not let me, and asked for the Intel driver to be present first. So I did install the Intel video driver first, and only then the Nvidia.
    Thought I share this info with you guys.

    Would these drivers also be appropriate for the HP Envy m6-11XX series notebooks?
    I don't see any talk of the Envy m6 series in these forums at all.

    Here are some specific model numbers in the m6-11XX series:

    Could someone please add the m6 models to one of the driver lists?

    Most of the drivers in this thread are also compatible with the m6. However, the most notable driver that's NOT compatible with the m6 is the NVIDIA graphics driver posted in this thread. You will have to use the Intel HD Graphics driver and (optionally) a separate AMD Radeon driver package if your m6 comes with discrete graphics.

    The m6 is not really mentioned as much here as the more common dv6 or dv7 - the dv6 and dv7 seem to have more features and customization options at around a similar price point.

    I started adding some Qualcomm Atheros drivers and didn't realize that HP had released four revisions of the Bluetooth driver package for Windows 8 since I last updated the entry. :eek: Which is why you'll see the following (for historical purposes):

    These seem to be much newer...however, I'm going to skip on putting these up because the drivers offered by Synaptics are extremely generic. There is a bit of customization programmed into the HP-packaged Synaptics drivers, and this customized functionality may be lost if v16.3.8.8 is used.

    You can use the Windows 7 drivers that are available on the first post - they should be compatible with the dv6-72XX / dv7-72XX series as well. What component(s) are you specifically looking to find drivers for?

    dear justinkw1 i bought hp envy dv6-7214nr and it came with win8 and i want win7 so i installed win7 so i want all driver for all parts you said that i can use the Windows 7 drivers that are available on the first post iam confused because there is alot of drivers and i can't chosse which i need so please be more specific and write the links which i need to me . can i use use win7 driver for 7014nr because the difference between 7014nr and 7214nr is the processor

    Go ahead and install it, if you have an NVIDIA based laptop is totally worth it, it will notify you and update your drivers. They have done a great work.

    New NVIDIA Driver GeForce v320.18, was also released. You can download it using NVIDIA Experience or directly from here (64 bit)

    It looks like this version supports desktop PCs...I don't think this particular package supports consumer notebook PCs...

    I've looked into this driver; unfortunately the new USB 3.0 v2 drivers only support the Intel 8/C220 series. They are not compatible with the 7-series chipset.

    Looks like Intel pulled this from their site... :(

    I've posted the updated Intel USB 3.0 drivers for Windows 7, but I haven't posted most of these up yet. My fault.....gaaahhhhh..... :(

    The Qualcomm WiFi v10.0.0.251 drivers I'm holding off on...based on the issues that you're experiencing, this could be problematic for many.

    The two packages (above) are being looked into. Thanks again for finding these! :)

    The only update I can see that needs to be posted is the Broadcom Bluetooth driver package. HP Wireless Button v1.0.7.1 is really v1.0.6.1 (yes, it's a typo by HP).

    The other two packages (Validity FP and 3D DriveGuard 6) are incompatible with these notebooks, unfortunately.
