I'm amazed, after reading this thread I was ready for a long wait. I ordered the anytime upgrade disc from CompUSA on 10/22. Here it is 10/26 and I have it in my hands already. Sweet, now I can perform a clean install and see how good I am at installing all the necessary drivers.

Ordered Vista 64 bit Anytime Upgrade Disc from CompUSA on 11/2, received it in the mail on 11/5.
Amazingly quick. -
Ordered 32-bit Anytime Upgrade from CompUSA on 11/5 and received it in the mail 11/15.
FYI- I wasn't able to track the package... no tracking numbers were provided in the confirmation email or on the CompUSA website. I called CompUSA and the CSR stated all Anytime Upgrade DVDs are sent via bulk US mail direct from the manufacturer. I suppose it all depends on how far away you live from the manufacturer, whoever that is. -
My DV6000Z came shipped with an Upgrade Anytime disk, it shipped in July. I think I must have been one of the last lucky ones.

I was going to order an anytime upgrade disk from CompUSA in October and couldn't get the website to even place the order. I called the order phone number and the guy said CompUSA was no longer even carrying the disk. Go figure.

I was going to order one from CompUSA. Then I spoke to a friend of mine who had one and didn't want it since he moved to XP. Incidently his was shipped with his laptop. HP DV2000t which he bought a month before the 2500s came out.
