Time for HPs servers to crash. They aren't gonna be able to handle it.

    90 days.

I had a feeling Bing would go up to 25% before it ends but 30% is mad. Good thing I canceled my dv6tse order last week. This totally paid off.

(btw, I ordered Envy 14, it comes out to $1424.xx with $394 cash back :D )

thank you very much for this news lol :) 60 days from today so i should be receiving this a couple of days after my birthday not bad i guess.

just a question abaddon i believe you ordered your dm4t with a bing cashback so how long does the cash back take to move from step to step like from pending to available to in process to rewarded? or is it 60 days from pending to available and then the other steps are me moving it to my paypal account?

It is gonna be pending for 60 days and then you are gonna be able to move it into your PP or bank account or request a check.

I thought HP would have a Bing sale before it was over. The were outsold by Acer in Q1 and fell 300k units behind their sales targets in Q2. They have a lot to make up for in Q3 & Q4 if they are to stay in the lead for most units sold worldwide. I sent about 25 text messages around this morning to friends who have been waiting to buy the Envy 14. :D Is the CTO server lagging yet? :p

    Bronsky

BTW, is the sale on all models?

This is amazinggggg I think I am going to get an E14 today... are you still able to call them up and get price-match discounts after you buy or does that cancel out your bing?

I meant like how people are calling and getting a price match to the envy14 on amazon or CDW, or a price match on the slice battery at $150 instead of $200, or a price match on the windows7 pro that microsoft is selling, or threatening to change the order when its in production to get a bit more discount, could you do any of that or will it mess up your bing?

The CSR would not price match so i canceled my order. I re-ordered with i5 450M processor instead of i3 370M and got the sleeve with it. Saved $188 altogether and got a better processor. Now, another long wait...

Here's a huge "I told you so" for people who were swearing up and down "B-b-but, they only do bing to clean inventory, blah blah blah".

Bing and/or HP coupons have absolutely nothing to do with new releases or any of that. They may go hand in hand or they may not. One has nothing to do with the other.

Just in case anyone is wondering... to discover the 30%, type in "HP Direct" in the Bing Cashback search bar.

Where are you all seeing this 30%?

HP Direct is only 5% on the cashback stores page. Are you referring to some other store? Or is this geographically restricted to a certain IP address range? Or is it somehow preventing people who have gotten cashback from HP Direct before to access the 30%?

I live in LA and I have received cashback previously from a few HP Direct purchases.

Edit: nvm - I figured it out, you have to do a search on Bing.com for "HP laptops"

I wonder what happens if you buy a desktop instead after clicking through

What you use to search doesn't matter.

I've just randomly tossed out certain keywords just to get the % off banner and would order things from the store that had nothing to do with it. Never had a problem.

FYI, if you had the HP shopping tab open still open from earlier today after clicking through the 30% link, it still works. I just ordered a $2100 purchase about 1 minute ago and got $700 cashback in my cashback account listed as pending.

I thought I would try it since, the cookies might still register the initial click through at 30% and if not I could always cancel the order. I wonder if it would work now for a second purchase?

I didn't get the BCB emails either (which is the first time that has happened to me), so rather than wait the 48 hours as they recommend, I went ahead and opened a case with Bing. They contacted me a few hours later asking for my order details. We'll see what comes of it. If no 30% works out, afraid I will have to wait until delivery and send the laptop back to HP and have them eat the shipping costs.

can you cancel the order today with HP and re-order using the 30% link in order to be certain it applies correctly? HP direct usually gives me a verifying phone call a day or two after placing large orders. I have a friend who had to cancel his purchase of some software three times and ended up receiving the bing cashback money even for the canceled orders - maybe you will be lucky like him. ;-)

According to HP you can't cancel once the order is confirmed. A rep told me this last night as well:
