    Just got the refreshed HP Espresso wallpapers that are included in the Quad Edition notebooks! They are titled "Black Gold", and there are three of them: one of them is the regular Espresso wallpaper that we usually see, but it looks much sharper -- the other two are brand new and look very nice! 1920x1080 resolution!

    This is a company that has produced some of HP's artwork... yet some of the wallpapers they're showing off, don't seem to exist in the wild -- and unfortunately, the images on that site are only 680x380.

    One of those in particular caught my eye, so I wanted to see what I could do to make it usable as a wallpaper. I just scaled it up to 1920x1080 and replaced the center HP logo with a super high resolution one and modified it to make it look like the logo that was used originally...

    The end result turned out to be pretty usable! It reminds me of an old, worn cartographer's star map.

    That one looks like a wallpaper I've seen on one of our HP desktops. That desktop is a 1920x1080 screen too.

    Not sure if anyone is interested, but since the Boontje and Tam designer wallpapers were posted, I thought perhaps someone might like the LiveStrong ones that came with the HP Special Edition L2000/2300 series notebooks.

    They can be downloaded from here and extracted from the .exe file. A couple of them are actually pretty nice.

    would be cool to have different threads for the wallpapers such as gateway/compaq/hp/emachines....ect, that way they would be easy to find the walls when looking for them , and have only the ones from the oems and no customs posted in each.
    anyways its just a thought.

    Does anyone have the latest HP Touchsmart wallpapers? The model number is 600-1350, i think. I saw the display model at my local office depot and it sports one of the nicest wallpaper i've seen in a long time.

    I have been following this for a long time And was the base for my HPQ collection.
    If you guys are into that anime artsy stuff check out

    One thing is why the big hangup on dtop vs ltop? If there is no model logo on it what difference does it make?
    I know my fav is from the Voodoo/Blackbird and have no problem using it on a laptop if I like it.
    One thing I still have trouble finding is the theme files.
    Would be nice to also include the CPQ sort...
