Thanks. -
Hello there!
I really miss my factory default HP wallpaper from my EliteBook 8530p
Does someone have it? I've seen a very similar "wave" in the beginning post, but it's not exactly the same.
Edit: Thanks in advance! -
does anyone have the wallpaper for HP G Series?
it's something like this:

thankk you! -
These two have been included in collections posted earlier within this thread, however, these are of better resolution and include the new HP logo. They compliment the new 15.6" Pavilion laptop models well.

If you already know what it looks like, you can try doing a Google image search.

I just bought a DM4 and I'm trying to find the wallpaper displayed during the first-time setup. I'd like to use it as for my desktop or login screen, but I can't seem to find it on the hard drive. Does anyone have a copy or know where to find it on the drive?
-
This wallpaper might be in one of the following two folders -
C:\Windows\System32\oobe\Info
C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper
If you do find it, please share. -
No dice on either of those locations. The oobe folder contains the default Microsoft login screen and the wallpaper folder has a set of backgrounds already posted in the thread. The thing is, during the Windows setup, it behaves like it was going to be the login screen, but on subsequent logins, it is the Microsoft login wallpaper.

I did not find it. I'm guessing it's embedded in a DLL or EXE that runs during the initial setup, never to be seen again. I wonder if HP might consider adding it to their Wallpaper app on Facebook, but I have yet to ask.
I ended up recreating it, based on my photos and the official HP TouchPad wallpaper, which looks like a cropped and recolored version. I am happy to post it here, but I did not know if it was appropriate since it is not an official HP/Compaq wallpaper. If there is interest and it is appropriate, let me know. -
You may post it - just mention that it is not an official wallpaper piece though.
I'm wondering if you could have used the Print Screen key to capture it during first run (probably not).
