    Is it stable?

    1 volt should be fine as the i7's default to 1 volt when under load.

    Make sure you have the permissions to edit the cfg, then paste this in over the old enable unofficial overclocking part:
    Code:
    [ATIADLHAL]
    UnofficialOverclockingEULA	= I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it
    UnofficialOverclockingMode	= 1
    AccessibilityCheckingPeriod	= 0

    So did anyone manage to overvolt the GPU on one of these yet? Thinking of buying one but only if I can get the GPU to full speed...

    Any recent breakthroughs in this department? BF3 runs with everything on low at 1600x900 giving me 24-30 FPS at best... completely underwhelmed. I hoped it would be at least playable.

    try tweaking bf3

    got 4 fps from setting WorldRender.DXDeferredCSPathEnable to 0, and a couple fps by changing RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit to 1

    BF3 Tweaks

    Also, here's a config utility for BF3 - basically let's you change all the values in the config file, as well as the standard values:

    WOW!!! JUST WOW!!! If you were here right now, I would kiss you! After logging 100 hours of BF3 playing at 1280x720 with most settings on medium (deferred AA to med, no SSAO/HBAO, no blur, no FXAA, AI 1x) I set everything to lowest possible and bumped the resolution up to 1600x900. Getting about 26-27 fps tops (as usual). Put in the "WorldRender.DXDeferredCSPathEnable to 0" and IMMEDIATELY the FPS jumped to 36 on 1600x900!!! I've NEVER seen that before. So i tinkered and now it's running at 1600x900 with med texture, shadow, terrain, AA deferred, AI 1x (still no blur, HBAO/SSAO, FXAA) and netting a solid 29-30 fps, but rather stable! I'm seriously at a loss for words right now. Running Catalyst 12.2 pre-certified drivers.

    Holy , you posted that 2 months ago! Why did I never check this thread again!?!?!?! It has problems in indoor areas, oddly. Like inside a building in Firestorm get 22 fps, but outside is 31..
