Seems like a rip off with only a Radeon 2600.
-
What's with the optical drive and hard drive configuration? You can only choose one device. Must be a mistake in the order page.
-
customized mines and it came out to $4,123.99
well it is a media pc so a 2600 should be okay. gaming pc look somewhere else. that 20 " screen probably have crappy response rate. -
Price is not right...even there is X7800 - should not cost $3500.00 But corporations might buy these...

All specs meets all my needs, except I want nVIDIA GeForce Go 8800 series, and Blu-ray.
I hope by the time of Europe release, they have BD, and nVIDIA option.
Quick, HP, my laptop's breaking down -
the ATI Radeon 2600 isnt a dissapointment after sein this post
3DMark06 Score: 4,205 3DMarks -
i was able to get vista ultimate and the x7800 for only 3,400, with the 6% student discount!, dont forget about that... keep in mind tho, it only has room for ONE gfx card, so im prolly gonna go for a 17" with Sli, and im not sure, but the x6800 in most 17" seems betta than the x7800 which is newer... im not sure about that tho

The configuration page was messed up yesterday - it let you have an optical drive or dual HDDs, but not both. HP seems to have straightened that up by this morning, but they've bumped the base price up by more than $200 since yesterday - 200 more reasons not to go with what could have been a nice system if HP had really put some effort into it.

It seems that my budget must be about GBP2500, and I hope it's not that expensive in UK due to strong poundsterling. -
I went ahead and ordered one. If the screen is as nice as the Ultra Brightview on the dv9000 I'll be happy.
