    8.882 is 11.8. They still support overvolting I guess so I'm switching to them effective tomorrow. :D

    I also made an interesting discovery. This new driver also (besides the 6490M and our beloved 6770M) supports the 7470M and the 7690M XT :confused: ...new GPUs coming soon...hehehe. OR (and i'm afraid this is true) they are simply rebranded maybe with a slight factory overclock. :mad: Cause 7xxx series is not out yet.

    7470M = 6490M
    7690M XT = 6770M

    ...i just posted that as a future reference. :cool:

    However, kudos to HP for being a laptop manufacturer that actually RELEASES graphics updates! Even if it is every 2 months. ;) Glad about that.

    And since this is a DV6-6770M thread from what I see, you should know that many more updates are available than just graphics. There's BIOS, audio, LAN etc..

    It's 11.9. OEM starts at 0 ie 8.80 (11.1), Generic starts at 1 ie 8.81 (11.1).

    Unfortunately, this could be the last AMD graphic update for the your series.
    They stop when they refresh the series.

    Well it depends on your exact model number (mine is 6091NR), although for most of us it's the same. So you should go to

    HP Support & Drivers | United States

    then choose "drivers and software", enter your model number, choose your operating system and you're there. Here you can all your driver updates. Now all you have to do is click on the "plus" sign (+) on left of "BIOS" and then you should click on the very first result which is also the latest driver. The latest available BIOS (for my laptop at least) is F.1B. Previous was F.1A.

    Make sure you don't download a wrong BIOS file and flash it, cause then you'll have a bricked laptop.
