It just sucks that I ordered my ENVY 15 on 6/11 and it won't ship until 6/27 and prolly won't arrive until 7/2-7/6.

They are quick to charge your card...hell I will be close to making the first payment on the laptop and I haven't even received it yet.

My estimated ship date was 6/22, and it shipped out this morning, so you still have hope! I'm probably the only one on this board that got theirs sent ahead of schedule.

Ya, but I think you might get it earlier, I mean I ordered a day before you and my estimated ship date was 6/26 and mine is shipped and apparently going to come tomorrow, but we will see.

My Envy has been sitting at the Fedex facility in Shanghai for three days. I have a feeling it's going to wind up on a small island in the South Pacific with Tom Hanks using it to crack open a coconut.

Guess most of us are in the same boat hah, (also ordered it 6/10). I'm starting to doubt that it'll arrive on the estimated time (6/22).

Anyway, what are you all gonna do when you finally get it? :p I was thinking of buying an ssd, but I dont feel like spending more money than I already have...

Ssd later down the road, the hdd is 7.2k so it's not your typical 5.4k hdd so shouldnt be that bad. The only time I upgrade is if I "need" to, the same goes for my desktop

New guy here. Got mine yesterday and sent it back today. Like others the screen was not connected to the bezel and molding around it. I could stick my fingers in between the gaps and touch the inside of the screen casing. Very bad quality control.

    HP returned without question.

    Moving onto Dell now.

I can't wait to get mine so I can return it and buy that Vizio 15.6". HP won't allow me to cancel my order and now I have to wait until the 22nd to get it, then send it back, then wait for a refund....

I'm in the same situation. I tried to cancel when I received the Delay Notification but (four days later) they shipped anyway. My plan was to send it back unopened but I don't know if I have the strength of character to resist checking it out. I find the Lenovo Y580 strangely fascinating...

Yea. Customs keeps it a day and updates from Alaska usually comes in the evening. I'm guessing part of it is due to the 4 hour time difference.

Hey guys, im new to this thread and wondering if any of you could please help me out. I am living in Australia and cannot for the life of me find anywhere to order the new 32xx series. Does anyone know when it will arrive in Australia, or even if it ever will?! Also, does anyone know of another way to order the product and have it delivered to my address in Sydney? I hear that you need a US billing address, IP, etc to order from the HP US site.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

I don't think going ham is enough to describe what may transpire if my laptop gets delayed even more. It kills me even more because I returned a sandy bridge envy for this one. I saw somewhere that they give a hefty refund over customs delays. We'll see tomorrow.

go gaming desktop + ultrabook. the surface I will be willing to bet will have alot of kinks and problems that will need to be worked out cause its new tech. FOr me personally i dont need extreme graphics with insane framerates to enjoy games. I like having the portability of a laptop

i prefer the laptop experience too. i only just started playing casually again - but i realize i game at the desk anyway, and the lighter laptop would be nice for work. plus the screen, although nice and sharp, is a letdown with the colors. The cons of an ultrabook would be small screen for work and low storage space. i could build a desktop and buy an ultrabook for near the same price -- two more weeks to think about it!

I finally got a moment to watch all the videos. Glad to know about the muti-external display differences and the DV7 heat would have been a deal breaker... I guess those that don't like the glossy screen can add a matte protector... Those videos & the review were well done & rep to you !

Apologies if this has been answered, but I've been through quite a few pages and not seen it mentioned.

What's the battery life of the 15t-3200? I recently bought the envy 14 spectre but could only get 4.5-5hrs or typical usage out of it, which seems pretty crappy for an ultrabook, especially when advertised at up to 9.5 hours....

The 15t-3200 is advertised at "up to 10.25 hrs" but I guess you could say I've learned to take that with a grain of salt....
