    Mine is at the sort facility too as of 6:45am this morning.. at Dullus airport about 25 miles from my house. Fedex is saying Tues, Nov 3rd.. but I bet it will show up on Monday, Nov 2nd.

    One of the better things about Fedex vs UPS is they deliver/work a full schedule on Saturday. There is no reason they need 3 more full work days (sat/mon/tues) to get a package to me thats only 25 miles from me and already at the sort facility (aka hub)

    Unfortunately, they run their business based on scheduled dates. So if you are scheduled for delivery on Tuesday, they won't pick you package and deliver until Tuesday, even if they already have it in hand. Just had that conversation with my local FedEx office. Mine is literally 5 minutes away, but they won't break down the container until Monday afternoon since the packages in the container aren't scheduled for delivery until Tuesday. Was hoping I could pick mine up before flying out to NYC on Monday, but the answer was "sorry". Guess I will have to wait until Friday now...

    My delivery date was moved down from Nov 3rd to Nov 2nd, so hopefully FedEx is ahead of schedule. I might call them to double check if I can pick it up from the hub - hopefully they broke down the pallets already..

    EDIT: Just called FedEx. I'll have to wait until Monday when they break down the consolidated shipping pallets.

    Mine departed Memphis, but nowhere near my sorting facility. I really need that laptop on Tuesday. FedEx better deliver....I don't want to have to change my flight just to wait for a laptop, though that does sound kind of cool though.

    Mine has finally arrived in Anchorage;

    So I guess based on the info in this thread, I should expect something like a 48 hr delay in clearing customs, and so my ETA of the 4th Wed should realistically be the 6th?

    The way I understand it is you shouldn't see a delay unless HP screws up the paperwork.(Although I am not sure on this)

    Sorry but thats not how it works in every instance.. I just ordered a set of used wheels a week ago from Ebay. Wheels were schedule to be delivered on Tuesday Oct 27th by Fedex. Wheels were actually delivered Saturday Oct 24th. Yep 3 "business" days early. And no the delivery date was never changed.

    When I got the email notification they were delivered. I didnt even believe it. So what did I do? Walked down to my mechanic and yep the wheels were sitting right in his showroom floor.

    Further proof this well get delivered on Monday. My notebook has left the sort facility at Dullus airport (25 miles away) and is now at my local Fedex station. I have no doubt this will be out for delivery Monday morning.

    Mine still says Tuesday, but here's hoping it arrives Monday. I highly doubt it though.

    Thanks for the info;

    It seems mine is still in Anchorage for some reason, it doesn't say anythings about customs though, so that might be out of the way. They are sure taking their time on this one.

    Ahhhh Mann!!!!

    Fedex tried to drop off my Envy 2 days earlier than expected at 8a.m Today. Nobody was home to sign for it. I guess I will just pick it up from the depot later on tonight.

    Yes, same here; Fedex suddenly has the package on their delivery truck this morning, after being in Alaska the entire weekend. And also two days earlier than expected.

    Sorry, my mistake;

    I thought that DV6/7 were carry overs of the old models; but I guess according to the postings in this forum, they are not.
