    Thank you for your recent order with HP Home & Home Office Store. We regret that we are unable to accept it.

    thats what hp sent to my emailafter i placed order using the 30%coupon!!
    may be cause the coupon expired !!but it works for me!
    i do not know what to do after i wait this coupon for 2 months!:cool:

    Credit card rejected?

    Sometimes a bank will reject a larger than normal purchase??

    i see the same problem here in the forum but it was holding may be cuz many orders more than the maxium cuz of the discount!

    i ordered it 9 dec. sunday 02pm.
    am just worry cuz i will miss 30%discount again and am waiting for 10am to call them.

    Well, if they say that the 30% coupon was no longer valid and they won't accept it hold your ground. Don't let them say they can't honor the discount, because you entered it online and it accepted it, so they need to honor that price. Don't let them push you around, but be nice about it at the same time. If the person on the phone says this is the problem and he won't still give you that price, ask to talk to a supervisor and talk to him. In the end, it was their website that gave you the final price, and it's their fault that they didn't update the website to take the coupon off.

    Say things like:

    -I'm very disappointed in your business for going back on your word for a price.

    -I'm not going to recommend HP to anyone anymore if you are going to treat potential customers like this.

    -Make them feel like they are losing out on a lot of business, because then they will honor the price to keep you happy and to make sure you don't talk bad about HP to other potential customers.

    -If you have bought other HP products in the past, mention it and say that you keep purchasing from them because of their great customer support and products, but if they don't give you the price you'll start looking elsewhere where they care more about the customer.

    Just make sure you aren't rude, but make sure to be firm and stick your ground.

    I don't know how many times I experienced this problem. If you ordered it with the coupon then they declined because they took the coupon off. Last time I did the same thing too.

    Just tell them that you will report them to the Federal Trade Comittee. It worked for me.

    If he printed out the order receipt then he has proof that the 30% off was applied and should get that price!
